Welcome to the Resilience & Grace Online Studio, a community and learning platform where active, older adults come to explore and transform their overall health and well-being and "feel good at any age!"
This online studio is a hub for students who are looking for weekly online yoga and fitness classes, special events, and retreats. It is a community where active, older adults who are worried about losing their independence increase their health span as they age gaining strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility. Offerings also include brain health and stress management techniques helping to improve sleep, memory, and relaxation.
Members belong to an online kula (aka community) that supports and promotes a wholehearted lifestyle with resilience and grace.
Mary McCarthy integrates ancient yogic wisdom with evidence-based western science into each of the classes creating a holistic practice taught with attention to:
* Safe, accessible, heart-opening postures
* Meditations for brain health
* Grounding and energizing breath practices
* Creative Sequences
The ever-present intention of each class is to rejuvenate the body, mind, and spirit. We pause, breathe, find stillness, discover new vistas, and reach the expansive place of our true nature.

Each class is a blend of simple, breath-based, and heart-centered practices. I offer postural alignment cues and modifications that make each pose accessible for all.
No matter what age, size, ability, or experience – all are welcome. Classes accommodate both newer and seasoned practitioners.
Classes combine movement and stillness, insight and breath, power and ease, while exploring the philosophy and practice of yoga.
While each class provides a new sequence and focus, they all are designed to promote calm, clarity, connectedness, and boost your overall well-being and vitality.
